Big Dawg Steel Match Rules

General level II match, with the following divisions:
Open, Limited, PCC, Revolver, Open Revolver, Production, Carry Optics

The Big Dawgs Steel match will use the Steel Challenge Rule set for everything except as noted.

The match will consist of 15 stages of falling steel targets. A competitor will complete 5 strings of fire on each stage, discarding the worst time. There will be a 30 second par time set. If a competitor has not completed the course of fire in the 30 second time limit the Range Officer will stop them. A 30 second time will be entered for that string, and the competitor will be allowed to complete the remaining strings (if any).

The falling plates will be calibrated to fall with 110 power factor ammunition prior to the match start, and spot checked each day prior to start of competition. The match staff will do their best to make sure that all the target arrays function flawlessly throughout the match. There will be no calibration process, however if one of the target arrays is broken or not functioning please notify the Range Master. The Range Master may, after inspection, issue a re-shoot. Any plates not knocked down will result in a 3 second miss penalty.

A competitor that disqualifies at any time during the match will have their match entry disqualified for that day only.  A competitor that disqualifies in a division may not re-enter that division on any subsequent match days.
